Speed and Damage all in one package....

How often in today's game do we see an attack getting boosted by Absurd Strength and then pushed through by Kung Ku training?  Well how great would it be to have the aspect of those two cards put into one?  Well this is what set 9 brings us just not quite to the extreme that Absurd Strength and Kung Ku Training have.

So the final card UFS Cards will be giving everyone is "The Price of Foolishness."  It has Earth, Fire, and Order how convenient that it shares two symbols with Absurd Strength.  So we obviously know that Earth and Fire have no problems with pushing damage through but the fact that it has Order might bring to the table what order needs to be aggressive in the format.  With it being a 4/4-action card we all know it will not be an auto include like Absurd Strength and Kung Ku Training are most of the time.

However the enhance isn't an automatic plus damage or speed like Absurd Strength and Kung Ku Training and applies to the next attack you play not the current one. But it gives damage and speed if the attack deals damage equal to the control check made to play that attack.  So in a general constructed deck it can be 5 or 6 on the good end and then as low as 2-3 on the bad end.  However what if you run control check bonuses in your deck then the sky is the limit.  I only wish Psycho Focus could be reprinted someday sounds like a fun time to me!!  Also remember the speed gets a bonus as well as the damage so once the first attack that you enhanced with deals damage it will only get worse for your opponent.

Well folks that wraps up the Dark Stalkers set 9 previews I hope you all enjoyed them and everyone have fun at your releases for set 9.  I hope to see you all at US Nationals in 2 weeks to see who takes home the biggest prize in gaming.
