What? A DAN deck? Honestly in UFS he's not that bad, which is almost kinda disappointing! I had bought a few starter decks recently to play nice with my friends who don't have evil decks like my Sakura one just yet. The one that really caught my attention was the Ken starter from Domination. To start out with it's kinda... meh. Then you realize you'd have a hilariously evil deck if you just switched out 20 or so cards and changed the character to Dan.

The idea of this deck is simple. Run your opponent out of blocks in their hand and then slam them with however many attacks you have left! Why does it work? Because you'll be beefy!

Characters:
**Dan** x1 Starting

Foundations:
Saikyo Ryu x4
Visions of Destiny x2 (Or more if you have a fatter wallet than me)
Beefy x4
Son of a Tycoon x4
Charisma x4
Demon Eyes x4
Ken's Shotokan x4
Schoolgirl Innocence x4
Valuable Experience x2

Attacks:
Chicken Kick x4 (The name alone demands inclusion in a Dan deck, but it works, too)
Ryubi Kyaku x4
Tsukami Nagi x2
Kuzuryu Reppa x4
Dragon Smash x2
Dan's Fireball x2
Ryu's Denjin Hadoken x4
Still Dragon x4

Actions:
Siberian Training x2

Now, this bears a bit of explaination... So here's how it works:
Using Saikyo Ryu, Dan's Ability, Charisma and the like you pretty simply set yourself, up, then discard all the foundations from your hand to make sure your opponent no longer has any blocks in their's. Throughout your turn you can draw more and more cards to discard to make doubly sure your poor opponent can't block a single thing you're throwing at them by drawing more cards with Son of a Tycoon, Chicken Kick and the like. Will this deck suffer deck death? Occasionally, but your opponents will usually succumb to your turns of unopposed beat-down first.

Just remember to taunt your opponent repeatedly while you're winning! Otherwise you're not playing a REAL Dan deck:
Doshita Doshita!
Rakushu!
Yoshaa!
Yattaze Orararara yoyuu-su!

wow, talk about a POC deck (POC=pile of cards). this deck unfortunately doesnt do anything, once per turn each player pitches a single solitary card, so we are both down to 5 (assuming im not playing a 7 HS character like i should be doing) and then what, dan's ability is once per turn. saikyo ryu is a decent card, not amazing, but decent. so after you use saikyo ryu, you have an attack in the card pool and two cards in your hand where i have 4. assuming you have a 2nd saikyo ryu in play, you then have no cards in your hand, and i have 3, not the world best trade off because next turn i have have 6 cards in my hand and you have zero. now, your just playing a screwy match and wanna play around, sure use dan, but if you are gonna play dan, use promo, and since you obviously dont care about type 2 (evidence in the form of charisma) you can play boxing ring and rock the world. i also have some comments on improving your sakura deck but never got around to posting, if you want my opinion on how to make the school girl better, email me at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it

Hey, good job there with the Dan deck! I'm glad more people are using the new one over the promo, but I suggest you should at least try and get some of those cards you claim your wallet can't get. Here's a few ideas for ya:

Promo Dan (*Dan*) = amazing card when attached to the booster version - you can draw 5 after you ditch your opponent's hand!

Dan's Dragon Punch = a possible game twister, it can screw over opponents trying to reduce your 29 vitality. not to mention it has a whopping 10 damage!

Prankster = judging by the fact you had the Ken starter, this also annoys characters that use key foundations.
