The cries for watermarked
reprints of Impetuous
have not gone unheeded; while that card sadly will not return,
Superiority is the
best replacement that Yoshitora can conjure up for now. And while
it's not nearly as powerful as Impetuous, it's still potent enough to
warrant a long look.
It is a rare, perhaps a
starter deck rare, but the ability is worth it. The cost of commiting
two foundations is much easier than blowing them up, and while it
doesn't actually negate the form ability, it does destroy it. That
makes it one of the few cards capable of doing that in Block 2 that
we have seen so far. A lot of the power cards of the format are
Forms, such as Fortune Teller, Soul Power,
Trade Your Passion For Glory, and Roam
the World. Superiority makes these go poof
after one use, for a cheap cost. It doesn't commit itself either, so
it is reusable. And it's a 2/5 with a +2L block that gives Death and
Evil more control options (as it should be) while making Good even
more viable.
At the very least, it
makes you want Shinobi Tradition
gone even more, right?
