Well, I know Good is about the most maligned symbol in UFS, but with Set 7 (specifically Darkstalkers) adding so much good material for Good, my OK **Maxi** has been terrorizing my fellow gamers as of late. Have a look and tell me what you think:

NOTE: I haven't been playing UFS for that long, so you won't see any cards from, say, SF01 or anything like that, so I may not have the best cards available in all of UFS.

Main Symbol: Good

Starting Character:

**Maxi** (6 HS 27 Vitality)

Characters (5):

2 *Maxi* (5 HS 24 Vitality)
3 **Maxi** (6 HS 27 Vitality)

Actions (4):

4 Flashy Display (0/3 +2M Split Card)

Assets (3):

3 Soryuju (4/3 +2M)

Attacks (22):

3 Steel Dragon (3/2 4H2 +1M)
4 Illusion Kick (4/2 3L3 +1H Breaker:1)
3 Rolling Buckler (4/2 4L3 +3H Powerful:2)
2 Sand Splash (4/3 4M3 +2M Stun:1)
4 Mark of the Beast (5/3 4M4 +2M)
4 Paguna Paguna (5/3 4L4 +1H)
2 Fury (6/2 4M3 +3M Multiple:2)

Foundations (26):

4 Cheerful (1/6 +1L)
4 Empire's Ruin (1/5 +2M)
2 Headstrong (1/5 +2L)
4 Nothing to Lose (1/5)
4 Pirate from Ryukyu (2/5)
4 Shissen Karihadi (2/6)
4 Tendon Strength (3/4 +3L)

Side Deck (15):

3 Mark of the Dragon (4/2 5M3)
4 Drifting Moon (5/3 3M4 +1L)
4 Roam the World (2/4)
4 Spiritual Center (2/5 +2H)

Comments:

I don't know the maximum Side Deck size for UFS (excuse my ignorance) so I went with 15, please tell me if it's different. The deck strategy is basically drop 3 or 4 foundations on the first turn (hopefully at least 1 Pirate from Ryukyu) and then ATTACK, ATTACK, and ATTACK some more! A lot of the attacks here can lower other attacks' difficulty, so if you hit once, you're probably dropping your hand on his head. Honestly, I like **Maxi** and I would like him to see some tournament play. So if you want to play an oddball deck at the next UFS tournament, try it out!

this isnt a bad idea, but i dont see you taking Maxi's awesome ability to make blocking REALLY hard. if you put just a smidge of money into the deck, it could be really solid, first off, take out paguna paguna, rolling buckler, and sand splash, not bad attacks, but there are sooo many better cards you could play. i recomend jackknife kick, rolling storm, and one arm maneuvers. with maxi's ability, and you use rolling storm, that get multiplied 5 times, your opponents blocks get +6 to their difficulty, which is crazy. and if you have a single pirate of ryu kyu in play, thats 12 damage. foundations that are missing are battle disk systems and achieving your goals. battle disk is staple in good decks, and if u take my advice and use said cards with multiple effects, your gonna need some consistent momentum gain, use the achieving. and if u decide to take this to a type one tourney, hop is almost a staple. keep in mind alot of your cards also have the air symbol (as well as your character) you really want to take advantage of this fact to delve into airs vast stores of fantastic mementum gain and speed/damage pump effects

UFS made the decision to keep the sidedeck to 8 cards. I like that because I think you can really create a whole new deck with 15 cards. Fully 25% of your deck. With half that you can protect yourself against specific decks, but your deck maintains its identity.
