tenma_go_zanku._smallWith the new set 1s no longer the lonliest number.  There are tons of cards that can either turn those bad checks into good checks, or atleast let them rejoin your hand where their power can be unleashed on the following turn. Tenma Go Zanku is another such card, with a decent attack slapped on for good measure as well.

The attack itself starts off pretty, 5/3 for a 4 mid 5 is becoming pretty standard, as is the +3 mid block tacked on.  Tacked onto those solid stats is a pretty unusual effect, if this attack deals damage remove all 2 or less checks in your discard pile from the game.  Why would you want to do this you might ask?  Mystic is one popular way to abuse such an effect that immediately comes to mind.  A lot of Siegfrieds cards would enjoy such an effect as well though they don't match symbols very well.  And theres no telling what other similar combos may be still yet unrevealed. If you flip the card over you find a pretty nifty action.  Very similar to Constant Training it allows you to take that bad check and add it to your hand.  In this case it has to be a 1 check, but you also get an additional draw out of it as well for some solid card advantage.
Overall Temna Go Zanku is not my personal favorite card of the battle box but its still pretty versatile, pretty solid, and with the right combos can be quite deadly.

The enhance is nice but it's easy to block so there's no guarantee there. The react is definitely nice, though you need to be running 1 checks and aside from Devil Reverse that isn't worth running one card to help with (since you aren't going to have this card in hand every time you flip a 1).

As an attack, it's got a solid set of stats, however it's effect is a double-edged blade. Removing more cards from the game means that if you cycle, then you possibly set yourself up for a potential ringout. The fact that it is a punch attackwith Air, kinda makes me blink though.

As to the Action side, it's pretty solid. I can't really complain about it.

I absolutely love the artwork.

Akuma and Ryu, working hard together to make your 1 and 2 CCs life saving rather then life threatening!

Remember that scary card? For 6 difficulty, you can reduce an attack's damage to 0 and send it back to them!

Imagine flipping Reversal when attempting a block - oh well, let's send it back to my hand using TGZ. What's more, it's useful to put Reversal in my RFG pile if I have Mystic in play.

I'm gonna see Reversal in a lot more decks when this Battle Pack arrives...
