After much delay, I bring you a
"mega write-up," if you will, of the AoP in Cape Coral. The event featured many prominent
UFS personalities, as well as members of my own playgroup, many of whom, although
lesser-known, are just as talented, as you will no doubt notice as you read.
Sadly, I was unable to attend, and therefore, there is no write up of my own.
What follows, however, are the accounts of several of Florida's very best. There are lessons to be
learned from their experiences, both in deck design and play decisions. I hope
you all enjoy this article very much.

UFS has come a long
way since the earliest days of the game, especially in regard to damage
reduction. It used to be that you had to take some damage from a throw, Tira
was guaranteed to hit you, and there was little or nothing to be done about
massive damage pumps like Reckless and Gyulkus, aside from Yoga
Mastery of course.

With the AoP season in full swing, a wide variety of information is available for us to consume and put to use. This is a compendium of all the information from rounds 1 and 2 of the Assets of Power. Round 2 features the widespread use of the Seal of Cessation, something Round 1 didn't have. Also set 7 is now legal. How does it affect the environment? Have a look. Get your thinking caps on, I promise this will get deep. |
