Taking it old school here folks, especially with Vintage worlds coming up in a few days and ALL the character cards (sorry Hugo*** and Ibuki* not you two) are legal or play. I'm taking it back to the days of UFS being ran and operated by Sabertooth Games. Back when the STG staff made a tour of stops in several "brick and mortar" stores, including the one I work for now. I remember that I didn't have any cards at the time to make a deck but when I did want to make one, one of my fellow New York players asked me which character did I like from the Street Fighter of Soul Calibur series. I didn't have many options at the time but I chose one card in particular... Ryu (Type 2). Being that this was my first character card, I pretty much stuck with it for at least a year and a half. (Until I discovered Starter Deck Mai from Domination and R. Mika from Extreme Rivals... now that's my favorite character :) But more on that another day.)
What makes this card so good? Well let's take a look at it.

Evil has been fairly dominant for the last couple of months. Jon Herr and James Hata have shown us that in the face of adversity evil has still been able to prevail and win. With placing 1st at Canadian Nationals, 2nd at US Nationals and 1st place at the East Coast Championship, this symbol has shown it's pedigree and has proven time and time again that it's here to stay.
With the World Championships two weeks, this is a quick primer on how Ibuki is able to decimate her opponents quickly.

What is it with me and cards that have abilities restricted to certain characters or symbols? Today we'll be covering Superhuman Strength, a card not unlike Inhuman Fortitude from the first Soul Calibur set, 'cause it's the thematical reprint of it. Except at the exchange of better stats, it's considerably far worse. At least it's a potential -3 to an attack, right? Click to read more as we take the time to analyse it further. Who knows, this intro might be extremely misleading on purpose? Nah, it couldn't be.
