Today we take yet another look into Set 10, in particular, Soul Calibur's "Flash of the Blade". The card of the day: Commitment to Excellence. One of the greatest facets of Set 10 are the plethora of 6 checks, and this one really makes its mark!11007-commitment_small

good_resourceWelcome back boys and girls to the conclusion to the good guide to Good. I realize that some of the Good tournaments have already come to pass, (included one that I have participated in), but there are still plenty more to be had, and being in one allows me to put forward first hand experience of the tournaments to you guys.

Anyway, today, I'll be covering the various characters you'll be likely to encounter and I'll give an example of a cheap and easy deck to build and play if you're stuck for ideas: Talim. On with the show! :D

sf04_003_144_challenge_the_masterIt might just be me, but I think that if there is a single card that can showcase the change in mentality of UFS players as far as defeating your opponent goes, it's name is Challenge the Master. Which is a good thing since we'll be covering it today. Other than Adon kicking Sagat in the face (which is a pretty weird way to "challenge" someone, usually I kick them in the face AFTER I've challenged them. That's considering I kick people in the face. Which I don't. Even though there's video footage of me doing that exact thing.), what does that card do, and why is it the supposed proof of a change in mentality of UFS players? If you want to know, then read on.
