Hey, good job there with the Dan deck! I'm glad more people are using the new one over the promo, but I suggest you should at least try and get some of those cards you claim your wallet can't get. Here's a few ideas for ya:

Promo Dan (*Dan*) = amazing card when attached to the booster version - you can draw 5 after you ditch your opponent's hand!

Dan's Dragon Punch = a possible game twister, it can screw over opponents trying to reduce your 29 vitality. not to mention it has a whopping 10 damage!

Prankster = judging by the fact you had the Ken starter, this also annoys characters that use key foundations.

Firstly - A Tatsumaki with a 3 check? I don't think we've seen a card like this before.

I've always been a fan of Ken's not-so great attacks, as I could use Show Off to give Shoryureppa and Flaming Shoryuken a damage boost. I was also considering using Dark Heart alongside said attacks. Ken's Seoi Nage was also nice for you got a free draw from it's E, plus you could give the next attack +3 speed.

But in steps Kuzuryu Reppa (which is actually an attack made from SVC Chaos, in Violent Ken's movelist) to blow my mind away. Hopefully if Ken::: or whatever number of dots he gets is also solid, he'd be a starter deck for a lot of players old and new (as he was before).

Bearing in mind this was made when Fortune and Glory had just come out, Drew's Miser was a deck which changed our meta in a big way.
I first heard of the deck when I found out it had defeated the NPE K' deck in our area. Shortly after I was at the receiving end of beating by Miser.
Considering Miser was also a possible NPE being a control deck, we soon came to love good ol' Miser and her ability to say "Miser says no." It's sad to see block rotation and banning of "Protractor" of Southtown will end her ways... but she may return - no, she WILL return!

If you're running Karate-man, check this nasty piece of work out. Your Overhand Throw just got even more of a pump!

This is just what my Sagat deck was looking for. Imagine you're running a throw deck, and you hate your attacks doing nothing. With this card, I can draw extra cards for such, and then have some more throws to pack at my opponent!

Remember that scary card? For 6 difficulty, you can reduce an attack's damage to 0 and send it back to them!

Imagine flipping Reversal when attempting a block - oh well, let's send it back to my hand using TGZ. What's more, it's useful to put Reversal in my RFG pile if I have Mystic in play.

I'm gonna see Reversal in a lot more decks when this Battle Pack arrives...

Yay for Mika!, Wednesday, 02 May 2007

Dunno why, but there's something about comical characters like Dan and Mika that are compelling to me...

Anyways. Flying Peach is a neat attack if connecting. Too Fast to See is simple enough to make it unblockable, since losing two cards from the hand or momentum isn't such a big deal.

Am I right by saying that the second setence on that enhance still takes effect if the attack deals no damage? Otherwise it might say "E: If this attack deals damage, your opponent discards 3 momentum AND their next attack played gets -2 damage."

Use a character that discards cards from the card pool, and use Start Over -> discard it -> Shunpu. BANG BABY!

The text box on the attack part of Clones has a spelling mistake. CHOOS a resource symbol? How do I choos? Choo choos! Easy mistake, yet funny at the same time.
Twelve just got even more fun, Tuesday, 06 February 2007

In fact, I got a **Twelve** Starter at my pre-release, and managed to pull one of these babys. Unfortunately for me, we didn't really understand his ability until the latter stages of the pre-release, by which I had lost plenty of games via a low vitaity and hardly any blocks in the starter.

Looking at *Twelve* now, he seems a very worthy rival for any deck. Using Impetuous? *Twelve* can destroy it when you use it! Using Battle Disc System? It just got a lot harder to hurt *Twelve*. You can see where this goes from here...
