I really like the art on this card, queen bee always looks cool and that attack really looks like its going to hurt. The stats are quality too. After that... we need to see more of what mill has to offer to determine if they are good or not. Based on the only mill cards we have so far I don't think it really does enough for how expensive its effects are. But with enough mill based effects every little bit adds up. Atleast its stats offer the flexibility that if your mill isn't working you still have a shot at a normal KO.

Statistically its pretty solid, ranged status is still for the most part nothing but a negative, reversal status can occasionally prove useful. Its effect sounds good in theory but is a bit too situational and a bit too expensive to be consistently useful. The art is alright though not fantastic.

Its gonna be hard to find room for this in most decks inspite of its good stats do to that situational effect. Aside from Gil themed I can maybe see this in a reversal or ranged deck, but its symbols don't exactly lend it to alot of the better reversal or ranged (hah) support. We'll have to see how it interacts with the other cards in the set before laying final judgment though.

Whats there to say that my upper review didn't already cover, 30 vitality EASILY makes up for 6 hand size, his first effect makes him a tank who can easily live until he sets up his kill combos, and his second effect helps make those kill combos extra brutal. Heck you don't even need to discard momentum, you could use it just to ready a foundation. Even the arts solid, one of the most intimidating art of him I've personally seen.

I'm sorry but this attack just doesn't seem worth it to me, not enough damage, not a good enough block, far to expensive an effect for the little you get out of it. And to make matters worse billy's hurting Jenet in the picture and its not a very good shot of her. Not the worst card in the game but not good enough to warrant play in my book.

The balance seems to be changing on character cards, 6 and 5 hand size characters are starting to get much more vitality to make up for their lower hand size, thus making them alot more competitive. Combined with new cards like IF, playing high hand size characters is becoming less of a sure thing. The really great thing about IF isn't that it punishes large hand sizes though. Rather it combines a very solid block that allows it to be main decked, with a relatively easy to meet unblockable requirement.
Fire and Earth are just drooling at this thing, even if your opponent has only 1 card in hand, dark hado away the rest of your hand, pump to heck and back with usual fire and earth buff shenanigans, then bam, unblockable 30 damage for game. This thing was just made to be abused by dark hado for easy unblockables. If your opponent actually has a bigger hand size then you, all the better.
Of course as an enhance its very negatable but atleast theres some cards to counter negation now and some of the best negation will be cycling out soon.

Nice art and good stats, but I'm not convinced it has enough going for it to warrant main decking. If Yun-seung or other momentum based decks continues to do well though expect to see it in a lot of side boards.

Wow, and you thought control the present was annoying. To be fair it can't stop enhances printed on their attacks, character, or actions, so it doesn't obselete Control the Present, and they can still get off 1 foundation enhance on their own attacks like CtP, still this does shut down pretty much all enhance based defensive foundations and slows fire down to a crawl in the same way CtP did, all for better stats and an amazing block. And that second effect generates momentum in a pinch. Long story short, awakening, battle disk system, any e-based defensive item is left crying, and cards like friends and rivals are significantly weakened as well. Its a good thing if you ask me.

This attack poses the question, if your murdered in hell, where do you go? Also when you think about it, if you have to be hell murdered, having it done instantly would be the most humane way to have it done. Good ol' Akuma, always thinking about his victims.

On a serious note as I mentioned above this card is very slick, has alot of options, and perhaps the most noteworthy thing is the random inclusion of the wind symbol. With out it this wouldn't mean quite as much to me, but this is the best true control card wind has gotten since whimsy and unlike whimsy its not nearly so slow or expensive to use.

Awesome art, lots of powerful and versatile effects, really if this card was any better it'd be borderline broken, as it is though its very solid and probably going to see alot of use.

theres actually some comparisons to be drawn to awakening here, little more difficulty but its a solid foundation with a +2 mid block that can reduce damage on an attack and generate card advantage, only you draw a card instead of them losing a card. I'm not sure I'd put it in the same league as awakening but its defiantly very solid, a great counter for momentum generator decks, and a solid block in a pinch and I think thats enough to see it some serious play time.

the battle box is packing tons of amazing cards but Ryu's Shoryuken EXTRA alone may cause many people to purchase battle boxes in pairs. Theres very little to criticize about this card, its just all around great. High blocks are going to become even more important then they already were cause I expect this to see alot of play time and a good high block is its only real kryptonite (and even then you got a draw 2 out of it).
